COVID-19 virus

Van der Valk Hotels & Restaurants apply stricter measures

As a family business, Van der Valk gives the highest priority to the health, safety and well-being of our guests and employees. In view of the recent developments and the newly announced government measures, all Dutch and Belgian Van der Valk restaurants will be closed until Monday, April 28. Our hotels are open.

It goes without saying that we hope, this will contribute to preventing further spread of the Corona virus. For many decades our family business has been an important meeting place in our society. Within our society our family business has been an important meeting place for many decades, in which many social networks have been established and maintained. It is therefore that we consider the steps we are taking now as unreal and unthinkable. In these circumstances, however, we have no other choice.

We are confident that we as a society will do whatever it takes to bring this situation to a halt, and we will be strong and resilient in the subsequent recovery.
